I have something exciting to share. I’ll be helping to instruct at the Yamaha Champions Riding School this September 22 & 23, and they’re bringing both the Champ Street Course and the two-day YCRS Champ School program to Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, South Carolina.

Carolina Motorsports Park is a special track. All tracks have a character, but CMP’s character is variety. This little track in rural South Carolina about an hour south of Charlotte or thirty minutes northeast of Columbia has a little bit everything. It has fast sections, technical sections, it has heavy brake zone and corner where you use 1% of brakes to get direction.
If you’ve never been on a track before, this is the perfect introduction. Champ Street is built for street riders of all levels, and the two-day Champ School is a deep dive into skills that will change the way you ride forever.
