Because of high demand, we will not be able to fit everyone on the designated tour time they signed up for. You may need to join a later tour instead. There are now at least three tours. Tour #1 is at 4:00 PM and Tour #2 is at 4:30 PM. Tour #3 is at 5:00.
Come for the time you would like, but please know that those who line up first AND are pre-registered will get on the tour first-come, first-serve. We can only accommodate a limited number of people per tour. You must have already registered to get on a tour. We will be checking names!
If you haven't already signed up or are on the waitlist, you are still welcome to come see the whale from the outside. There may be time for a walkthrough after the tours but it is not guaranteed.
The library welcomes a very special visitor on Friday, September 26th at 4:00 PM in the Amphitheatre. Adults and kids alike are invited to sign up to walk inside Chunk, a life-sized, inflatable humpback whale with realistic internal anatomy.
Jessica Woodend will guide you on an immersive tour on the outside and inside of this humpback whale to learn all about its marine biology and conservation. The Within the Whale experience is for ALL AGES, adults and kids alike!
Jessica Woodend, founder of Within the Whale, is a dedicated Wildlife Educator and Conservation Advocate. Her passion is connecting people of all ages to the wonders of wildlife and conservation.
