Oak-Hickory Forest Exploration

Join us for a guided hike through one of the most important and beautiful forest ecosystems in the Southeast. The oak-hickory forest is home to towering trees, colorful wildflowers, and diverse wildlife—from squirrels and deer to woodpeckers and owls.

-The vital role acorns and hickory nuts play in the forest food web.
