Apple Tree Pruning Workshop

Jason White will lead an outdoor Apple Tree Pruning workshop at Merry Spring Nature Center on Saturday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m. Jason will demonstrate how to prune Apple Trees in a hands-on workshop that will allow those interested to take part as well. He will show you the tools necessary for at home pruning of your own trees. Jason is entering his 10th season at Plants Unlimited where he has worked as a Landscape Designer and his 5th season as the General Manager.

In 2021 White was recognized by MELNA (Maine Landscape & Nursery Association) as the Young Nursery Person of the Year. He currently sits on the MELNA Executive Board and the Independent Garden Centers of Maine Committee (IGC of ME). He is also a member of Parks & Recreation for the City of Rockland. Jason spends his brief winter break from Plants Unlimited pruning Fruit Trees by request.

Cost of this workshop is $45 or $40 for Merryspring members, and pre-registration is required. Fee is non-refundable.
