As a community, we MUST rally together to show our support and appreciation for the brave men and women that are out there every day risking their lives to keep our communities safe. This year once again we will be walking from the Camden-Wyoming Fire Department to the Camden Police Department. This is our 10th Anniversary, so we want to make it BIG!!!!
Bring your family and friends, bring your signs and flags, wear your blue and come out and meet some First Responders and fellow supporters and let them know that they have your support. This year we will be honoring some of those Officers and families that have helped this organization continue to do what we want to accomplish.
This is a 0.8 mile walk through the lovely town of Camden. We will begin to gather at the Fire Company at 200 East Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Camden, DE and walk to the Police Department at 1783 Friends Way, Camden, DE starting promptly at 10:00 am. If you are not able to or do not care to walk, please feel free to meet us at the Police Department.
This is a RAIN or SHINE event. There is NO fee for this event. This is a gathering to "walk the beat" and show our support for the Law Enforcement Community which is needed now more than ever!!
We will have water and light refreshments available. We will also have giveaways and some silent auction/raffle items.
If you would like to make a donation to offset the cost of this event or be a sponsor, feel free to contact us. We will also be accepting donations for our local Police Departments in the form of cases of water, hand sanitizer, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, baby wipes, snacks, etc. They can be dropped off the day of the event or in advance.
