The unusually mild Autumn we've been having seems to have finally deserted us and it's suddenly gone rather cold. Don't let that get you down, though. Instead, pop on your thermals and come along to the Elm Tree this Sunday where Cambridge Ukulele's fortnightly meet up is on again. There you can bask in a warm, convivial atmosphere as we make as much music as we can (starting at 3pm) in our allotted two hours. We can summon warm, far away places to our minds with songs like "Blue Bayou" and "Echo Beach". All comers are welcome. Bring your ukulele if you have one, or just come along for a bit of a sing song, if you fancy.
Just one new addition to the book ( https://msb.me.uk/resources/cambridge-ukulele.pdf) this time: Bastille's "Pompeii". It's got great energy but has plenty of opportunity for us to go horribly wrong (just what we like). Sam has also kindly changed the key of "She's Electric" to something that will hopefully be easier to sing.
