RICH(ARD) DAWSON

The incomparable Rich (just Rich) probably needs no introduction. A rare, truly singular voice in the landscape of rock & roll, he is a conjurer of new myths that stand alongside asute contemporary observations. Drawing on the elemental and sublime, along with the everyday and ephemeral, Dawson creates songworlds that can swing between stormy chaos and intimate reflection organically and engagingly. Always weird and thrilling, his work draws from an encyclopedia of sources, including traditional English folk songs, free jazz, VR gaming, allotments, Japanese psyche, tales of pre-medieval Northumberland, avant-metal, and sporting fathers.
