This enticing programme is packed with choral masterpieces old and new. In the first half, two Purcell anthems are paired with Britten’s tuneful Rejoice in the Lamb, all set alongside atmospheric works by Joanna Marsh and Errollyn Wallen; after the interval, we return to Fauré’s iconic Requiem for the first time in many years, assisted by young voices from Stephen Perse Cambridge and accompanied on the organ by Alexander Pott.
