Local Author Talk - Peter Nicholl

Join local author Peter Nicholl as he discusses his political thriller "Sanctions in Paradise" which is based on his own time at the Central Bank of Seychelles in the 80s. It is against this idyllic backdrop that Peter has created this tale of intrigue and action!


The first draft of the book was written in the 1980s when Peter spent a year working at the Central Bank of Seychelles. He loved the people and the scenery and decided to feature them in a political thriller. However, that first draft was lost and Peter forgot about the book. But two years ago, he found a copy amongst a box of papers from his mother’s estate. He felt that must have been an omen so he revised the book and completed it.
