All players are assigned a Fargo Rate based on the event's race chart(see below). After the draw, two players are matched for tournament play.
Assigned Match Play:
If a players match has a difference of 26 points or more between the two players, the races are determined based on their assign Fargo Rate. Ex: 600 vs 667 will be a 7-8 race
Even Match Play:
If the difference is 25 points or less, the lower Fargo Rate determines the race. Ex: 633 vs 634 even race to 7

What does the +1 mean?
If you are a +1 handicap, this simply means that whatever your opponents skill level is, they must win one additional game.
EXAMPLE
3+1 vs 5 = race is 3-6
6+1 vs 8 = race is 6-9
