Cambridge Comhaltas - Learn to Play Day

Join us at the Rathmore Club on Sunday 12th October, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm for Learn to Play Day, part of the UK charity Music for All’s flagship annual event.

This free event aims to inspire new and lapsed musicians to engage with music-making. As part of this nationwide celebration, we’ll be offering free taster lessons on a variety of Irish instruments, including the tin whistle, fiddle, flute, bodhrán, uilleann pipes, plus demos of other instruments including mandolin, banjo and harp.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve, come along to try your hand at these instruments and experience the joy of Irish traditional music.

It’s a perfect opportunity for all ages and abilities to get involved, make music, and be part of the local music community.
