Aldermaston Nomads & North Camp Enduro are pleased to present this years "Pathfinder 3 Stage Trail".
Whats a 3 Stage Trial?
A mix between a trial, a time trial and a mini enduro, based on the original Army training format, and suitable for all levels of rider on any trails, trial or enduro bike.
What can I expect?
A full day of riding on the fabulous Bagshot Heath MOD land. A test of your bike skills, balance, route finding and stamina.
Stage 1. - 2 hours
A lap of around 5 miles with up to 10 simple trials sections, aimed at trail bike riders, spread throughout the lap. The sections are observed as in a standard trial. A generous time is allowed to complete the required 2 laps.
Tea break!
Stage 2. – 1.5 hours
Same lap and same sections although they are made a little easier and the times are a little tighter, but you know where you are going and what to expect now.
All-important Tea break again!
Stage 3. - 1 hour
Sections are eased again, through the entry gate and away you go. The times are tighter too, making this stage fast like a mini enduro, well for some anyway!
If this all sounds a little complicated, I can assure you it all makes sense on the day. The idea is that trials and enduro riders can compete on a level playing field, except of course the field is anything but level. The uppy & downy bits at Bagshot Heath can be challenging, but that’s what you are there for.
You will need an ACU trials licence to enter and any road legal or trials rear tyre to enter
Spectators welcome, on foot or bicycle.
Entries open early April.
