This year’s event will take place at Doc Harris Stadium on Tuesday, October 21st, at 10 AM. Students will walk with their class and teachers from the school to the track. MWF Preschool families can meet us at the track. Parents are encouraged to dress up and come to the track to cheer! As a reminder, dogs are not allowed in the stadium. If you are going to attend the event, please park at Doc Harris to avoid crowding at the school. Classes will return to the school by 11:00 AM for lunch and recess.
The Pumpkin Run fundraiser is our largest school-wide fundraiser for SWS. Funds raised directly benefit SWS students now and in the future. These crucial funds have allowed SWS to continually improve our playground and facilities, purchase new Chromebooks, and acquire new curriculum along with support materials for students and teachers.
Quantifying your donation:
$5 adds a book to our library
$25 will purchase new sports equipment for PE classes and recess fun
$100 can help buy new computers for our young learners
$250 goes towards a quarter of a new picnic table to enjoy more outdoor lunches
