CORCA Kids MTB Coaching Term 4 2025

Kids MTB coaching clinics run by Caloundra Off Road Cycling Association coaches and volunteers.

Coaching kicks off at 3pm sharp, please arrive early to allow time to unload your bike and get set up for the session.

Dates October 12, November 9th, November 16th November 30th. - Make up sessions if required will be December 7th & December 14th.

Meet on the grass near the carpark - Skills sessions are conducted on the grass or in the skills park prior to a guided ride with our coaches.

Housekeeping:

All riders aged under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian throughout the session. Whilst the first part of the session is on the grassed area we generally cover >5km, it is recommended that accompanying parents are also on a bike. In the event that we do not have enough riders groups may be combined for safety reasons.

Riders must have active Auscycling membership which provides insurance coverage. One month free insurance is available at this link, if your child is eligible for play on voucher this can be utilised for membership also. https://auscycling.org.au/become-a-member/free-trial

Riders must have a helmet that meets Australian standards and closed in shoes. We also recommend that riders wear appropriate safety gear including gloves, goggles, knee & elbow pads. Please ensure that you have sufficient water for your ride and a method to carry it.

Please ensure that your bike is in good and functional condition prior to the ride, it is good practice to carry basic tools, a tube that fits your bike and pump in case of punctures.
