Overview
This is a moderate circular walk above Callander with great views of the Trossachs landscape and distant peaks. There will be some ascents and descents on hill paths, forest tracks and a small section of minor road. We cross the river twice, the second time will be at Bracklinn Falls which can be quite spectacular when in full spate.
Paths can be muddy after rain, sturdy footwear and poles recommended.
At the end of the walk we will visit the Smiddy Farm Shop and Cafe at Blair Drummond for some well deserved victuals. (Optional)
