Women on the Water: Print Making with Jennifer Lickers
Sunday, September 14 | 9:00AM–11:00AM
This session features Jennifer Lickers, a biracial Mohawk Wolf Clan artist whose work bridges Indigenous and colonial histories through visual storytelling. Jennifer will guide you through Ink & Oar, a hands-on botanical printmaking workshop that encourages you to connect with the land, express your creativity, and reflect on the stories carried by nature.
About Jennifer:
Jennifer Lickers is from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory and of Scottish/Welsh descent. She holds both a BFA and MFA, and currently teaches and coordinates exhibitions at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI. Her art explores the deep relationships between land, identity, and intergenerational memory—drawing from Haudenosaunee teachings, personal histories, and the legacy of residential schools.
