What is Learn and Play Groups?
Learn and Play groups, isn't preschool, and it isn't childcare. It's a little different. Learn and Play groups is a fun and easy way for you to enjoy activities with your child(ren), and to meet other families. There will be age appropriate activities for kids ages 3-5. The best part? We do the planning! You just need to sign up.
Each Learn and Play group event will have a main theme. Covered within the theme activities will include, arts, crafts, sensory table, gross motor activities, stories, music, educational toys, and a snack.
How much does Learn and Play Group cost?
Each session costs $5.00 per family (not per child). Money goes towards crafts and snacks.
Who can attend Learn and Play group?
Activities are geared for children ages 3-5, accompanied by an adult (Dad, Mom, Grandparents, aunts/uncles are all welcome). If you have younger children or older children they are welcome to come. We would ask for older siblings to participate as helpers. :)
How do I register?
The registration fee is $5 per family (not per child). Please bring cash, or check (made out to Peace Lutheran) with you to the session. Session will be capped at the first 15 children registered. You will be notified if a session is full or cancelled for any reason. If the session is full, you will be placed on a waiting list in the order that your registration was received.
