A fun, whacky event for the entire community!
Registration is open for Caldwell’s inaugural .5K “Race” for the Rest of Us! This year's “race” will start at the front of the Metro Community Services headquarters (4307 Skyway Street, Caldwell). Our goal is to have 1,000 “racers” join us, and we can't wait to see you there!
The .5K “race” is not exactly the most grueling of strolls — it’s 546 yards or slightly less than a third of a mile in total. It’s intended for all ages and abilities, so wheelchairs, walkers and strollers are welcome.
A limited number of t-shirts will be provided at the “race” first come, first serve. More fun details (like donuts?) to be announced leading up to the “race!”
Registration is $25 per person. All proceeds will go to Metro Community Services’ transportation service, which provides free rides for seniors and people with disabilities to meet medical, nutritional, employment, education, social, and recreational needs throughout Canyon County.
