"Race" for the Rest of Us, benefitting Metro Community Services 🍩🏃😎

A fun, whacky event for the entire community!

Take part in Caldwell’s inaugural .5K "Race" for the Rest of Us, benefitting Metro Community Services' transportation service! This year's “race” will start at the front of the Metro Community Services headquarters (4307 Skyway Street, Caldwell).

The .5K “race” is not exactly the most grueling of strolls — it’s 546 yards or slightly less than a third of a mile in total. It’s intended for all ages and abilities, so wheelchairs, walkers and strollers are welcome!

Registration is $25 per "runner." Every dollar raised will support our free transportation service for seniors and people with disabilities to meet their medical, nutritional, employment, education, social, and recreational needs throughout Canyon County.

A limited number of t-shirts will be provided at the “race” first come, first serve, plus more fun details (involving donuts perhaps?) will be announced leading up to the "race" in October!

Our goal is to have 1,000 "runners," so please join us and spread the word about this whacky event!
