Wild Skills, Wild Food, and Deep Connection
This 6-week immersive forest school invites young adventurers to harvest, craft, track, and cook their way through the fall season at our Denbigh campus. It’s hands-on, deeply rooted, and driven by curiosity, story, and skill.
🌿 What We’ll Explore:
Carving & Basketry (Age-appropriate projects to hold foraged materials)
Foraging & Cooking (Wild food ID, safe harvesting, and fire-side cooking)
Animal Tracking (Movement, patterns, sensory games)
Sit Spots & Nature Journaling (For reflection, observation, and creativity)
On our final day, participants will complete a 4-hour scavenger hunt with riddles and challenges, working together to track and “harvest” a deer as a team using all of the skills they’ve learned.
This is not just outdoor play—it’s leadership development, land connection, and confidence-building in action.
🔪 Note: All participants will need their own carving knife. Ask for our recommendation.
