Trainer Information:
Hamida Elemam is an engineer but when she became a mother and found the way of positive discipline she found her desire to help others so she obtained the certificate of Positive Discipline Educator. She has presented many workshops of the positive Discipline Way for parenting. She then became a candidate trainer in order to help more people by spreading the positive discipline and now she is a full certified trainer . She also obtained the certificate of Positive Discipline in the Classroom in order to help children by teaching them about character building. She has taught many workshops in person and online for kids from different ages. She also gained the certificate of Empowering People in the Workplace which helped her to teach and train various teams and specially some teams inside the company that she works in as an engineer and she found the effect of that in a large scale. Hamida's passion is teaching, so she took the certificate to become Practitioner of the training of "Training from the back of the Room" which involves the newest way in her training. She also presents coaching sessions on a one to one basis as an Encouragement Consultant and APG Practitioner. However, first of all she is human that loves humanity and a mother of 3 (2 daughters and 1 Son )
Workshop Description:
This interactive on-line live and streamed video workshop is designed for parent educators, teachers, therapists, childcare professionals and others who want an effective discipline approach. This method is based on Adlerian Psychology and integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging behaviors. Successful participants will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and will:
1. Learn research based and effective tools and techniques for teaching parents how to use discipline that is kind and firm at the same time (non-punitive, non-permissive)
2. Learn how to facilitate a parent class from the position of a non-expert.
3. Gain practice with experiential exercises that help parents go beyond intellectual understanding to be able to respond in empowering ways that teach children.
4. Learn how to use materials and activities in group settings, parenting classes, and individual work with families.
