عرض مسرحي تدور قصته حول مخترع غريب الأطوار يحاول “إعادة اختراع المرأة” بعد اختفائهن في ظروف غامضة. يظهر على المسرح نساءٌ مغطّيات بالقماش، فيبدأ المخترع بتحويلهن إلى “كائنات نسائية” صناعية خُلقت لخدمة الرجل وتلبية احتياجاته فقط.
تتحرك الدُمى/الروبوتات وتنفّذ الأوامر: تحضير الطعام، الترفيه، العناية، الغسيل، والدعم العاطفي… إلى أن ينكشف الوجه الحقيقي للواقع. تتعرض إحدى الآلات للتحرش، وتُدان أخرى لأنها “أنجبت بنتًا” بدلاً من ولد. تنهار الفكرة بأكملها حين تعلن إحدى الفتيات أنها ليست آلة، بل كائن يُتوقّع منه أن يتحمل الرفض والعنف والوصم فقط لأنه وُلد أنثى.
يطرح العرض أفكار وأسئلة:
- كشف تسليع المرأة وتحويلها شيء وإلى أدوات للخدمة وإشباع التوقعات المجتمعية.
- نقد الصور النمطية الأبوية حول أدوار المرأة داخل المنزل وخارجه.
- تسليط الضوء على التحرش والتمييز وتفضيل الذكور على الإناث.
- تقديم رؤية رمزية عن المجتمع بوصفه “مُصنّعًا” للنساء وفق أدوار محددة مسبقًا.
تحفيز النقاش حول سؤال جوهري: من يحدد قيمة المرأة؟ وما الحدود- الحقيقية لحرية اختيارها؟
The theatre performance follows an eccentric inventor attempting to “reinvent women” after they mysteriously disappear. On stage, women covered in cloth lie motionless until the inventor begins transforming them into artificial female beings—machines created solely to serve men’s needs.
These dolls/robots come to life and obey commands: preparing food, entertaining, caring, cleaning, and providing emotional support. But the illusion soon unravels. One machine is sexually harassed, and another is condemned because she “gave birth to a girl” instead of a boy. The entire system collapses when one of the girls reveals that she is not a machine, but a being expected to endure rejection, violence, and stigma simply for being born female.
The performance poses ideas and questions of
-Expose the objectification and commodification of women, reducing them to tools of service and social expectation.
- Critique patriarchal stereotypes surrounding women’s roles in both private and public life.
- Highlight sexual harassment, discrimination, and the cultural preference for boys over girls.
- Present a symbolic vision of society as a “manufacturer” of women, assigning them predetermined roles.
- Spark dialogue around a central question: Who determines a woman’s value, and how much agency does she truly possess?
