The School of Counting Education at The British University in Egypt in collaboration with Faculty of Art and design are glad to announce their collaborated workshop titled
"𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡-𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬) 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩."
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
- Understand and identify 2D and 3D geometric shapes
- Build complex forms from basic shapes
- Learn proportion, balance, and color blending
- Improve manual dexterity and hand strength
- Encourage imaginative thinking and problem-solving
- Collaborate and present creative ideas
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭:
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏: Shape Discovery & Design Basics
• Ice-breaking & introduction to materials
• Learn 2D & 3D basic shapes (cube, sphere, cone, etc.)
• Practice rolling, pinching, coiling, and flattening techniques
• Create a shape chart or mini shape garden
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐: From Shapes to Objects
• Combine shapes to build familiar objects (house, tree, car)
• Introduction to tools and mold-making
• Begin first mini project: “My Playdough City Block”
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑: Animals & Creatures
• Sculpt simple animals using shape combinations
• Focus on scale, balance, and details
• Color theory and custom color mixing
• Continue “City Block” with an animal element
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒: Food & Fantasy Fun
• Create miniature food items (donuts, pizza, ice cream)
• Challenge: “Design a Fantasy Character or Creature”
• Workshop gallery walks display all student projects
• Final reflection, feedback, and certificate awards

Workshop Duration: 4 days /16 hrs. (4hrs per day )
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
