Questo ottobre, all'Accademia d'Arte di Cagliari avrai un’occasione eccezionale per imparare dalla mano di un vero maestro della pittura figurativa contemporanea: David Shevlino arriva per la prima volta in Sardegna per un workshop intensivo di pittura a olio dal vero.
Formatosi alla Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, all’Università della Pennsylvania e alla prestigiosa Art Students’ League di New York, Shevlino ha esposto i suoi lavori in tutti gli Stati Uniti ed è oggi uno degli artisti più apprezzati nel panorama della pittura figurativa americana. I suoi workshop, seguitissimi, si svolgono in tutta Europa e negli USA.
🎨 Cosa faremo durante il workshop:
- Studio della figura e del ritratto dal vivo;
- Dimostrazione pratica di Shevlino nel primo giorno;
- Approfondimento su economia del segno, semplificazione delle forme, volume e luce;
- Focus su proporzioni, valori tonali, miscelazione del colore e applicazione della pittura alla prima.

This October, the Accademia d’Arte di Cagliari will offer a unique opportunity to learn from a true master of contemporary figurative painting: David Shevlino is coming to Sardinia for the first time for an intensive live oil painting workshop.
Educated at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the University of Pennsylvania, and the prestigious Art Students’ League of New York, Shevlino has exhibited his work throughout the United States and is today one of the most respected artists in the American figurative art scene. His workshops are highly attended across Europe and the USA.
🎨 What to expect during the workshop:
