SalsaMind Project was born from a deep love for Cuban dance and how it draws people together - physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. It’s a space where movement meets meaning, technique meets play, and you remember what it means to feel alive again.

Connect through music, move with joy, and meet yourself & others through Cuban solo and partner dance. Whether you arrive solo or with someone special, you’ll feel welcome from the first beat.

• Dates: 4-week Sundays - Sept 28, Oct 5, 12, 19
• Time:
• 12:00 AM -12:30 PM - Practice for Level 1.5 & Beginners together for connection and practice moves and steps;
• 12:30 PM -2:00 PM - Level 1.5 class (1.5h)
• Location: 8/7 Grevillea Street, Byron Bay, NSW 2481 (Star Pole Studio)
• Group Size: Max 10 - intimate, friendly, and inclusive

• Cuban salsa dance (Footwork, body move & at least 10 elements in couple moves)
• Solo & partner work (we rotate so everyone is included)
• Rueda de Casino (Cuban group circle dance)
• Musicality games - play, connect, and enjoy music together
• Gentle partner communication for dance & life
• After-class socials - to keep the energy going
• Paced for Comfort: Don’t worry - this isn’t 2 hours of non-stop dancing! We mix in music games, step-by-step lessons, friendly breaks, and social practice dance at the end.
• Private group between sessions for deeper community

• Couples: Turn this Sundays into your own dance date-reconnect, play, and move together.
• Solo dancers: No partner needed. Meet others, build confidence, and enjoy the supportive energy of a small group.

Meeting the same group each week helps build trust, real connections, and a comfortable community. Venue: 8/7 Grevillea Street, Byron Bay, NSW 2481 (Star Pole Studio)

• Ample free parking available next to the studio on the street
• Please arrive 10 minutes early for convenience.

• Clothing: Comfortable clothes you can move and dance in.
• Shoes: Flat shoes that stay securely on your feet (sneakers or flat sandals preferred). Avoid high heels, flip-flops, or anything slippery.
• Extras: Bring a water bottle and your best smile!
