Day After Thanksgiving Hike

Join us for Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park’s Day After Thanksgiving Hike! Burn off that Thanksgiving Day meal with a 1.25-mile hike around the Bunkum Cave Loop trail. While hiking the loop we will stop at the Bunkum Cave overlook to discuss the cave and its inhabitants.

All ages are welcome! We will meet at the trailhead parking lot across from the Historic Birthplace Cabins. The hike will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. Please see the Essential Eligibility Criteria below for more information on the trail.

To make the most of this experience, we recommended dressing comfortably for outdoor activities, wearing sturdy walking shoes, and brining water.

In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled.
