Join natural wellness pioneers Weleda for a long weekend of immersive, seasonal experiences that celebrate nature, at the beautiful Lapwing Barns in the Peak District. From delicious organic food to blissful 90-minute treatments* that will rebalance your body, mind and soul, this is an opportunity to completely re-set and replenish; to reconnect with nature, your breath and your body, and learn much more about how to support your own health and self, every day.

• Experience complete rest and peaceful seclusion at Lapwing Barns – a beautiful farmhouse and barn conversion with generous bedrooms, wonderfully relaxed and comfortable communal spaces and picture-perfect views of the rolling countryside and sprawling national park.

• Get outside and deepen your connection to Nature with immersive guided experiences that will inspire and revitalise you, led by former Weleda head gardener, Claire Hattersley.

• Enjoy revitalising morning yoga sessions with experienced wellness practitioner Sharron Fitzpatrick, and the opportunity for dedicated one-to-one wellbeing coaching.

• Enjoy delicious, seasonal meals – from hearty vegetarian suppers to vibrant, vitalising salads and soups – made with locally sourced ingredients, brimming with wholesome goodness. The menu will always be vegetarian at the Weleda Retreat. The weekends menus will be created to incorporate everybody’s individual dietary requirements.

• Learn to understand your skin’s language and how best to support it with an interactive Awakening Skin workshop led by senior aesthetician and skincare expert, Elizabeth King, and then you have the option to enjoy our brand new Weleda Signature Skin Treatment. This is 90 minutes of pure, transporting holistic bliss that will leave you feeling calm, balanced and rejuvenated and can be booked alongside your ticket to the Retreat at an additional cost.

• Learn more about your own unique body and personality type, and feel empowered to activate your own wellness from within with Weleda’s complementary health expert, Evelyn Liddell.

All bookings have the option for single or twin occupancy. Some bedrooms have shared bathrooms with one other bedroom. Our retreats are open to over 18s only, and open to all identifying genders.

Guests will arrive 15:30-16:30 on Friday evening, departing after breakfast on Monday, with a relaxing and replenishing weekend retreat in store.

More than 4 weeks but less than 8 weeks (28-55 days) 25% refund

More than 2 days but less than 4 weeks (2-27 days)10% refund

On receipt of the cancellation, the above chart states the percentage refund made to the Guest. Weleda will make every attempt to rebook the places to obtain a replacement booking. If the place is rebooked you will receive a refund equal to the rebooked rate, which may be less if the rates are reduced in line with market forces or if the rebooked period is shorter than the original booking period. An Administration Fee of £100 will be charged to the Guest and will be deducted from the refund sum due if a rebooking is successful. Please allow up to 7 working days for a refund to be issued by Weleda. Card payments may take longer to credit your account which is outside of Weleda’s control.

Cancellations received exactly twelve weeks (84 days) from the check-in date, must be made before 12 noon.

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive cancellation insurance that covers UK holidays.

Our guidelines

We are grateful to guests for respecting our Retreat Guidelines:

• The weekend is designed to be an opportunity to slow down and really consider what you’re most in need of. Some guests may need some time and space on their own. Others may wish to be included and to connect with others. Please listen to your own needs and respect the signals of others

• Switch off from devices as much as possible. Time away from screens can be a rarity so please take the opportunity to switch yours off while you can

• Respectfully, please do not bring any drugs or engage in any drug related activities

• Our venue and garden are no-smoking zones

Covid:

So that everyone on the Retreat can fully relax and enjoy the shared space, we would ask you not to attend the retreat if:

• you are actively infected with or have recently tested positive for Covid

• you are experiencing Covid-like symptoms

During your stay at Lapwing Barn should you begin to display symptoms of the Covid-19 virus we would kindly ask that you take a Covid test (which we can provide). If your test result is positive we would ask that you leave the Retreat and stay at home to avoid contact with others in line with the NHS advice as of December 2022. You will not be required to wear a face covering or mask.
