Sparrowpit and District W.I. monthly meeting

We had a great talk last night at Sparrowpit W.I. by Colin Petty Subject Aquabox. This is a small charity based at Wirksworth who send a box with a filter clamped onto it, to areas where there is no clean drinking water and which prevents death especially to vulnerable young children from contaminated water. What a marvellous invention. They also send a box of essentials to areas that have been affected by floods earthquakes etc.

We hope to arrange a visit to their factory in the future.

Our next meeting is not on our usual night ie 3rd Tuesday of the month but on the 23rd September. Come and join us.
