Approximately 10 miles beginning from Hulme End car park. This ride takes in sections of the Manifold way and trail and country lanes as well as grassland bridleways offering good opportunities to canter if all riders are happy to do so. The route affords stunning views from the bridleway down into the valley, an opportunity for a paddle and a good view of Thor's Cave. In the event of a wet spell prior to the date the organiser reserves the right to alter the route to avoid a section of the bridleway which can become treacherous in slippery conditions. Distance will however remain the same.

Worth noting:
Sections of the route are moderately challenging with some steep ascents and descents which may be stepped or rocky.
The route includes bridge crossings over the Manifold. One of these currently has a temporary plastic panel super surface.
Bridleway sections pass through grassland where livestock (including donkeys!) may be grazing.
There are water crossings en route, both wet and dry, some of which cannot be avoided.
The manifold way is a multi-user trail and cyclists and walkers with dogs are likely to be encountered.
There is a small amount of roadwork on quiet country lanes to connect between the trail and bridleway.
Parking is pay and display with maximum charges of £7 for the whole day.
Group sizes are limited to 6 plus guide. All riders must have their own BHS Gold or equivalent Public Liability Insurance. Under 18s are welcome but on a first visit must be accompanied on the ride by an adult rider.
Payment of £38.50 per person secures your place, please use the 'find tickets' button to book. For more info please message the page.
