Make your own flashlight lantern torch to use during the SNöFLINGA Enchanting M! Lanterns can be carried along the lighted loop or used to join in IlluminDance, helping create a more artful, glowing, site-specific experience.
Takes approximately 15–20 minutes to make one lantern.
Drop in anytime between 4:00–7:00 PM!
Art supplies provided.
Bring a plastic bottle if you want a specific lantern shape (molds will also be available). Lanterns take overnight to dry — bring a small empty box if you’d like to take yours home right away.
Lanterns work best when duct taped to a flashlight with:
a larger head and an on/off switch on the handle.
A limited number of flashlights will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bring your lantern to The Enchanting M!
Join us for a free, all-ages illuminated evening below the M from 6:00–8:30 PM, where you can carry your handmade lantern along the self-guided lighted loop or use it during IlluminDance community circle dances.
