Modern 1 with Lela

**Note that there is no class on September 25th as Lela will be at the Montana Tango Festival.

Modern I with Lela is based in Bartenieff Fundamentals and Cunningham/Graham Technique. This class covers basic Modern dance technique while focusing on flexibility, spatial awareness, and core strength. Modern includes the exploration of suspension and release, fall and recovery, and the use of momentum and connecting movement with the breath. This exploration is done through movement combinations, floor work, and improvisation.

Please wear clothing that you are comfortable moving in and will protect you when we lay on the floor. Socks or bare feet are acceptable footwear.

Cost is $41 per person for the 3-week series or $16 for drop-in. Please bring exact change if paying with cash if possible. Cash, card, or check accepted.
