🐝Sunday Busy Bee - October 🐝
When: Sunday 19 October 2025 at 9am
Where: Capel Community Garden (1 Barlee Road, Capel)
Everyone is welcome, new members are encouraged.
This weeks tasks:
🥦Harvest veg
remove spent plants and compost
refresh beds
start mulching front of garden near new pathways
🍊plant mandarine
transplant raspberry into new bed.
But it is not all work, thanks to the Shire of Capel and our 'Let's Get to Work' project, we have a billy teapot on site, so everyone can enjoy a cuppa and chat. You can even take a look at our site plan and hear about upcoming events.
What to bring & wear:
✅Enclosed shoes
✅Sun-safe attire / wet weather clothes (check the forecast!)
✅Gloves if you like to wear them for garden work
✅Water bottle
✅A cup and a small plate to share for morning tea at 10am (We encourage you to be no or low waste if possible)
**Please note: There are no toilets at the site. The closest ones are the Town Oval or Capel Library.**
