Opening Function - Chasing the Light - by Gerald Ashcroft.

Join us for an opening function for Gerald Ashcroft's new exhibition, Chasing the light, 11am Saturday 6 September. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artist, view the exhibition, and enjoy light refreshments in the historic surrounds of the Old Courthouse Complex.

In this new collection, Gerald Ashcroft returns to the landscape with renewed purpose, capturing the fleeting interplay of light and memory across pastoral and coastal scenes.

These works, created after a period of studio-based abstraction, invite viewers to reconnect with places both familiar and deeply felt - evoking nostalgia, emotion, and a shared sense of belonging to the natural world.

Chasing the light will be on display in the Bond Store from 4-22 September 2025. Open Daily, Free Entry.
