Lifeline WA invites you to attend a free DV-alert 2-Day Foundations Workshop in Busselton, designed for frontline workers.
Join us on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 September 2025, from 9am to 5pm at Busselton Library.
This free training is an opportunity to:
• Gain valuable skills in recognising and responding to family and domestic violence
• Network with other local service providers
• Strengthen your ability to support your community.
This interactive 2-day workshop covers:
• How to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence
• How to respond appropriately to immediate needs
• How to refer clients to culturally appropriate support services.
The course also explores the nature, patterns, and impacts of family violence, considerations for diverse communities, safety planning, communication, and referral pathways.
This workshop is the first step toward a nationally recognised unit of competency.
