Walking into a yoga studio for the first time can be daunting. That’s why we’ve designed this beginner’s yoga course, just for you, so you can be completely at ease as you embark on your yoga journey with us at KatieYoga in Fig Tree Lane, Busselton.
Hatha is a gentle style of yoga. We will guide you through the ins and outs of the practice including:
- Yoga postures and their benefits.
- Correct muscular activation & alignment.
- Stress management through breathing and meditation techniques.
- Yogic history and philosophy.
- Modifying your practice for any pre-existing injuries or aliments.

🧘🏽♀️ Our focus is on 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 (incorporating ancient yogic wisdom and philosophy) and 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀 (using the latest evidenced-based scientific research) to inform our teachings!
🧘🏻♂️ Unlike other centres, we specialise in 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘆𝗼𝗴𝗮 and have 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 so you get individualised attention, specific to your needs.
🧘♀️ Our 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 at TEACHING, so you don't feel like you're in over your head or left to fend for yourself.
🧘🏾♂️ Our community is 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 so you can feel comfortable to come by yourself, or come with a friend.
🧘🏿 We include 𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆, 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 and 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in all our classes to provide you with a holistic mind-body experience.

The Beginner's Courses are on:
• Wednesdays from 4 Feb - 1 Apr, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
• Thursdays from 5 Feb - 2 Apr, 11:00 - 12:00 pm
Please note there is a one week break on the week of the 11 / 12 March.

If the time doesn’t suit, come to one of our regular classes. You don’t need to book. Just come to a class that suits about 5-10 minutes before the start time.
𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗛 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗘
🤸🏼♀️ 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 (Moderate to High Intensity) if you want a strong class that will challenge your body & mind.
🧘♀️ 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 (Low Intensity) if you want a gentle class that includes movement & meditation. Also suitable for beginners, seniors or pregnancy.
🪑 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 (Low Intensity) if you can’t get up and down off the ground and want to keep mobile & active.
