The Incident Management module is essential training for ISKGA guides, designed for proficient sea kayakers with prior rescue experience and a solid understanding of leading groups safely on the sea. The module blends theoretical leadership strategies for high-pressure situations with practical scenarios in challenging environments such as surf zones, rock gardens, and tide races.
Key areas covered include leadership under duress, group management, casualty extractions, emergency landings, first aid, and emergency communications. Scenario-based learning sharpens rapid decision-making skills to enhance incident management capabilities.

Pre-requisites include Leadership, Sea Kayak Safety & Rescue, and First Aid.
