PASSPORT TO EUROPEAN WINTER
Wednesday 4 June – Friday 29 August 2025

Have you been yearning for a European vacation? No worries, Sto Lat Restaurant will take you on a European culinary adventure this winter!

Each week throughout winter, you will be taken on a gastronomical journey, exploring the culinary delights of 13 different European countries.

By purchasing a meal from the exclusive weekly menu, you go into the draw to win big! In conjunction with flight centre, we are giving our members a chance to win a $2,000 Travel Gift Certificate.

HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1 | Make a booking at Sto Lat Restaurant for a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday dinner (5pm-9pm) each week starting 4 June 2025.
Step 2 | Register by filling in your passport at Sto Lat Restaurant.
Step 3 | Members will collect stamps and entries into the draw each week:
- One exclusive meal ordered per week earns you one entry into the draw
- Full set menu per week earns you four entries into the draw
- Trying seven countries dishes earns you five bonus entries into the draw
- Trying all 13 countries dishes earns you an additional 10 bonus entries into the draw
Step 4 | Enjoy the gastronomical adventure!
Step 5 | All your entries go into the draw to win a $2,000 Flight Centre Voucher. Prize Draw will be held on Monday 1 September 2025

ENTREE | Forest mushroom soup / sēņu zupa with potato, bacon and cream
MAIN | Latvian rissoles / kotletes with buttery potato mash, mushroom sauce, sour cream, dill, cucumber salad
DESSERT | Honey cake / medus kūka with warm custard and berries

WEEK TWO | 11-13 JUNE 2025, 5-9PM | UKRAINE
ENTREE | Potato pancakes / deruny with sour cream
MAIN | Stuffed cabbage roll with creamy potato mash
DESSERT | Cherry dumplings / varenyky with sweetened cream
To extend festivities, Ukrainian Jaga Band Duo will be performing on Friday 13 June 7:00pm in the Member’s Lounge.

WEEK THREE | 18-20 JUNE 2025, 5-9PM | SWEDEN
ENTREE | Toast Skagen / shrimp, mayonnaise, sour and dill on rye toast
MAIN | Creamy Swedish meatballs / köttbullar with potato mash, lingonberry jam
DESSERT | Swedish apple and blueberry tea cake

WEEK FOUR | 25-27 JUNE 2025, 5-9PM | CZECHIA
ENTREE | Czech fried cheese / smažený sýr with tartare sauce
MAIN | Roast pork scotch / vepřová pečeně with bread dumplings, braised red cabbage, pan gravy
DESSERT | Poppyseed strudel / makový závin with sweeten double cream, marinated berries

WEEK FIVE | 2-4 JULY 2025, 5-9PM | HUNGARY
ENTREE | Smoked ham and bean soup / Csülkös Bableves
MAIN | Beef goulash stew with nokedli egg noodles and sour cream
DESSERT | Hungarian crepes / palacsinta with jam, sweetened cottage cheese, nuts
To extend festivities, join Kengugró and the Transylvaniacs for a night of boot slapping, stomping and twirling dances and music from Hungary and surrounds. They will host their Táncház on Saturday 5 July 2025.

WEEK SIX | 9-11 JULY 2025, 5-9PM | FRANCE
ENTREE | French onion soup / soupe à l’oignon with cheesy crouton
MAIN | Beef stew / boeuf bourguignon with Paris mash potato, vine roasted tomatoes
DESSERT | French vanilla custard / crème brûlée with caramelised sugar, berry compote
Start Bastille Day celebrations early with a French meal!

WEEK SEVEN | 16-18 JULY 2025, 5-9PM | MACEDONIA
ENTREE | Macedonia bean soup / graff white kidney beans, smoked pork ribs
MAIN | Stuffed peppers / piperki polneti stuffed peppers with rice pork and veal meat baked, mashed potatoes
DESSERT | Semolina cake / ravanija sweet syrup-soaked cake with walnuts and double cream

WEEK EIGHT | 23-25 JULY 2025, 5-9PM | SPAIN
ENTREE | Garlic prawns / gambas al ajillo, garlic, chilli, baguette
MAIN | Suckling pig / cochinillo asado with oven potatoes, Spanish salad, gravy
DESSERT | Basque baked cheesecake / tarta de queso with mixed berry coulis

WEEK NINE | 30 JULY – 1 AUGUST 2025, 5-9PM | TURKEY
ENTREE | Turkish lentil soup / Mercimek Çorbası red lentil soup
MAIN | Spiced roasted lamb shoulder / Kuzu tandır with jewelled saffron, currants, slivered almonds, fluffy rice and herb garlic sauce
DESSERT | Baklava / crispy phyllo pastry, walnuts, sugar syrup and vanilla ice cream

WEEK TEN | 6-8 AUGUST 2025, 5-9PM | ITALY
ENTREE | Caprese salad with shards pf crispy prosciutto, vine ripen tomato, mozzarella and basil
MAIN | Spaghetti marinara / spaghetti alla marinara fresh seafood, tomato sauce and aged parmesan
DESSERT | Tiramisu / lady finger dipped in espresso, whipped mascarpone and cocoa powder

WEEK ELEVEN | 13-15 AUGUST 2025, 5-9PM | CROATIA
ENTREE | Chicken noddle soup / rezanci chicken bouillon soup with carrots, chicken and egg noddles
MAIN | Croatian mixed grill / ražniči & cevapcici traditional Balkan skin less sausages, marinated pork skewers with ajvar, white cabbage salad and fries
