El Ele Kalp Kalbe (Hand in Hand, Heart to Heart), a group formed to support survivors of earthquakes in Türkiye in 2023 and now registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) invite you to the screening of the documentary Just Like Before "Eskisi Gibi" by Sibel Karakurt, which won the Best Documentary Award at the 32nd International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.

The film documents the resilience and recovery of children who lost limbs in the 2023 earthquakes, focusing on the friendship of two young girls named Aliye and Yaren as they go through rehabilitation in Adana.

All movie proceeds will go towards Milleyha Wetland Project.

The Milleyha Wetland in Hatay, Türkiye shelters 315 bird species, endangered sea turtles, and the newly discovered Arum milleyhanum. The 2023 earthquake scattered debris and opened the door for unchecked development, putting this rare ecosystem on the brink.

El Ele Kalp Kalbe (EEKK), in collaboration with BTF and the Samandağ Environmental Protection Association, is working to shift the narrative from destruction to renewal. Your donations will help fund two education and conservation centres through the Yuva Project, as well as an observation tower that will serve as classrooms, research hubs, and community pride points. These centres will host biodiversity surveys, train local guides, and give children their first opportunity to observe migrating pelicans through binoculars.
