Pumpkin Carvers Event at Calamus SRA

Join us for some Halloween fun at Calamus State Recreation Area on Saturday, October 18 at our 37th annual Pumpkin Carvers Event!

Location: Pumpkin carving, games and pumpkin rolling derby will take please on the west side of the shower house area.

What to bring: Please bring water, snacks and/or a sack lunch if you’re planning to stay a while. A limited quantity of pumpkins will be available, so feel free to bring your own.

Schedule:

9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Pumpkin carving

1 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Kids Games, prizes and downhill pumpkin rolling derby

4 p.m.: Pumpkins gathered and put on display for all to see (lights provided; campground closed to vehicle traffic).

5 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Amazing pumpkin display, decorated campsites, and trick-or-treating.



This event is free with a valid state park entry vehicle permit.
