� Healing Service for World Day of Prayer �
Join us Thursday, Sept. 11th at 7:00 p.m. at Unity of the Valley for a special evening of healing, in conjunction with Unity’s World Day of Prayer and facilitated by Peggy Henrikson.
Healing and wholeness are foundational practices in Unity, inspired by the personal healings of co-founders Myrtle and Charles Fillmore and the many healings of Jesus, our brother and way-shower.
Come to our candlelight healing service and enjoy a singing bowl and meditation, an introduction about healing, one-on-one experience of healing energy, and the inspirational music of singer and guitar player Judi Vinar.
Our volunteer healers have training in a variety of healing modalities. They will stand behind chairs in the front of the sanctuary and radiate Divine energy and love to individuals one at a time, encouraging the mind and body to allow sacred healing. Each healing chair will hold a prayer shawl blessed by our prayer chaplains to enhance the healing energy.
You will also be given Prayer Request slips to list individuals or situations for which you would like prayer from Silent Unity’s prayer practitioners and our own prayer chaplains. We will collect these, hold them in prayer, and mail them to Unity Village for you, where they will be kept in prayer for 30 days.
