About the event

National Overdose Awareness Day
Join us on Saturday, August 30th from 11 AM to 1 PM at Montgomery Bell State Park as we come together to honor lives lost, support those in recovery, and raise awareness about the impact of overdose in our community.

This free community event will feature:
🔥 A cookout hosted by the Dickson County Sheriff’s Department
🎤 Guest speakers with lived experience
🎗️ A special remembrance activity for those we’ve lost
🤝 Resources and support from local recovery and prevention organizations

Let’s stand together in hope, healing, and action.
