About the event

Camp Recovery 2- Full Weekend Retreat
This will be a full weekend to reconnect, relax, and return to our roots. All are welcome.

About this Event

The Event- In the spirit of togetherness, we are starting an annual event meant to inspire community and connection. This will be a formal retreat atmosphere meant to reawaken the spirit and reconnect the mind and body. Yoga, Meditation, Swimming, Hiking, Eating, Sharing, Etc. All meals and lodging are covered under the registration fee.

The agenda will be formalized closer to the event and you will have the opportunity to choose your own schedule during the retreat. Everyone will be in a cabin, but these are rustic and you will need to bring your own linens and pillow. The cabins will have some electricity, but no running water. Bathrooms and showers are available on site. This is a rustic retreat. If you would like to stay in higher-end accommodations, you can reserve a lodge room in the same park at- https://tnstateparks.com/lodges/montgomery-bell

The Venue- Group Camp One was built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corp and is considered an historic landmark. The buildings are constructed of Crab Orchard stone that was hand hewn and quarried in Tennessee. The camp is located in a rustic setting nestled above Lake Woodhaven. The 36 rustic cabins, which do not have air conditioning or heating, sleep approximately 120 people. In addition to the cabins, the camp provides a large dining hall with full service kitchen and fireplace, a picnic shelter area, guard gate, field bathhouse, three extra counselor buildings, and a boat dock located on beautiful Lake Woodhaven. There are four bathhouse (two showers in each), sinks, toilets, running water and hot water.

Jeff Browning

Jeff will be taking everyone on a deep journey to self-discovery. He began his career as an addictions counselor in 2002, working with adolescents in an inpatient drug program. Jeff quickly developed a passion for helping treatment-resistant clients and valued the trust parents placed in his care.

After seven years with adolescents, he helped develop Stillwaters, a men’s treatment center focusing on 12-Step Recovery and community building, specifically for individuals with repeated alcohol and opiate relapses. He then joined The Ranch, a leader in trauma and co-occurring disorder treatment, where he integrated trauma work into addiction therapy.

Since 2017, Jeff has been in private practice in Nashville, working with people in recovery seeking emotional sobriety and wholeness. To deepen his approach, he has trained in Jungian psychology at The Research and Training Center for Depth Psychology in Switzerland.
