Are you ready to transform your retail space into a destination that customers can't resist returning to? Join Associate Professor Louise Grimmer, one of Australia's most respected retail experts, for a workshop that will have you rethink your store environment and customer experience.
Business Tasmania in partnership with Business North West invites you to the Creating Stores Customers Love workshop.
Local retailers can significantly boost their appeal and sales by focusing on both physical store enhancements and adapting to evolving consumer preferences. Creating stores that customers genuinely love to visit (and re-visit!) requires a thoughtful approach to the overall shopping experience.
This workshop will present current research on consumer shopper trends in the context of local retail stores, as well as practical examples to help you create welcoming storefronts and appealing and impactful shop interiors.
The workshop covers three key areas, providing you with:
1. current research on store elements which shoppers consider important and examining the impact of current shopping trends on small stores;
2. practical ways to improve external storefronts to create attention, interest and visitation, and
3. advice on the impact of atmospherics and customer service on customer comfort, enjoyment, dwell time, and spend.
You will leave the session with information and know-how to help you create retail destinations customers love to visit, spending time and money, and how you can build the kind of customer loyalty that sustains local businesses in an increasingly digital world.
Kelly Brown, Manager of the Business Tasmania service, will also explain how Business Tasmania helps people start, run and grow their businesses. She will outline the personalised support, information, and access to programs available through the Department of State Growth and other government agencies, making it easier for Tasmanians to connect with the support they need.
This free event is open to everyone - whether you’re a business owner, operator, or just thinking about starting your own venture.
Light refreshments will be served and parking is available on the surrounding streets.
