First Day Hike

Hit the trial with us as we celebrate a new year.

Join us for an awesome hike along the beautiful lake trail

Join Rangers on a first day hike along our beloved 1.2-mile Lake Trail, where we will celebrate the arrival of 2026 in your favorite state park!

Difficulty: Moderate with limited elevation gain.

Meet: The Lake trail parking lot (Beside the old HQ) at 9:45am.

Bring: Warm layers, water, and your favorite friends and family!

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Purchase day passes online ahead of time to guarantee entry.

Registration: No registration is required for this event.
