Workshop Description
We are excited to offer a special workshop where parents and children can come together to create, handcrafted gingerbread house keepsake. This workshop is perfect for bonding, creativity, and celebrating the holiday season in a fun and artistic way. Students will get to customize their houses using underglazes to add decorative touches.
The booking is for one adult and one child. The parent and child can create 1 mini gingerbread house each.
Workshop Details:

⏰ Time: 10:30am - 12:00pm
📍 Location: Beyond Pottery, Burlington, ON
👩🏫 Instructor: Lauren Sinett
👥 Suitable for: Adults, children, and teens (7+). Beginners are welcome, no prior clay experience required.
🎨 Includes: Clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firings
What You’ll Learn:
- How to hand-build using clay slabs .
- Techniques on joining clay pieces together,
- Decorative techniques: adding 3-D details , piercing or carving out shapes, and adding texture.
Pro Tips for Success:
✨ Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy (or bring an apron)
✨ Plan ahead—think about your mini gingerbread house design
Pick-Up Information:
Pieces take 2-4 weeks to be processed. We’ll notify you by email when your pieces are ready for pick up. If Haven't heard from us... please check your 'Junk' and 'Spam' folders or give us a call!
*Please note due to limited space we can only hold your pieces for 3 weeks after we've sent you our "pick up" notification.* After that time period Beyond Pottery is not responsible for keeping your works.
