Free screening of DUST: The Lingering Legacy of 9/11

Join us for a powerful, thought-provoking, and free screening of DUST: The Lingering Legacy of 9/11 on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 7pm.

This documentary uncovers the devastating health crisis still unfolding more than two decades after the September 11th attacks. While nearly 3,000 lives were lost on that tragic day, tens of thousands more have since faced life-threatening illnesses caused by exposure to the toxic dust that blanketed Lower Manhattan. First responders, residents, workers, and students continue to suffer from cancers and respiratory conditions linked to 9/11.

Through the story of FDNY firefighter Billy Gormley and the voices of countless survivors, DUST reveals the human toll of a tragedy that did not end on September 11, 2001. It shines a light on the ongoing fight for recognition, care, and justice for those whose lives were forever changed.

This free screening offers an important opportunity to reflect, learn, and honor the resilience of those still living with the aftermath of 9/11.
