Captain Herrick currently operates the ERJ-145 and Legacy 600 with a focus on safety, precision, and professionalism. Before his aviation career, he built a nationally recognized design and construction company, earning honors such as Contractor of the Year and NAHB Top 40 Under 40. His diverse background in leadership, operations, and technology—along with military service and a Top Secret Security Clearance—has shaped his ability to lead under pressure, adapt quickly, and deliver results.
Today, as a Captain with Contour Airlines, Herrick is committed to operational excellence, mentoring future pilots, and ensuring passengers and crew enjoy the highest standard of service. Beyond the cockpit, he’s a proud father, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner.
