From history to harmony, come explore the drama, beauty, and meaning behind classical music.

Join us as we delve into the weird, wild and wonderful music that makes up the classical genre, presented by Jared Maucotel, a professional Violinist of more than 20 years and a Doctorate Student at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Whether you have no experience with classical music, or you are a long time lover of the arts, this presentation has something for everyone. We will briefly discuss the 1000 year history of classical music, the different types of musical styles, and how to listen to and understand classical music. Then, we will explore this dramatic art form, showing how you can find your new favorite music in this enormous genre from all over the world. Come hear love, betrayal, peace, war, sunshine, storms and everything in between as we discover the drama and beauty of Classical Music.
