Where: Bay Club Broadway, 60 Edwards Court, Burlingame, CA
When: Saturday, September 27, 1:30pm-3pm (check in by 1pm and warm-up)
Player fee: Bay Club member $15 and non-member $25
DESCRIPTION:
King of the Court Ladder Event (Advanced Intermediate players 3.3 - 3.8). Ladder rounds will not be reported into DUPR system or any other rating system.
This is a great game format for players to have fun and test their game as they rise to the top of the court and ultimately earn the "King of the Court".
HOW EVENT WORKS:
Each team will compete moving up or down the 6 courts. Winners are determined by who's ahead at the end of 8 minutes (or if they've won the game within the 8 minutes by getting to 11 points, win by 2).
After each 8-minute round of play, winners stay together and move up to next higher court and non-winners stay together and drop down to lower court.
TEAM: Team consists of ANY two players as a fixed partner team. Fixed partners will remain together throughout the event. Every player is required to sign up and pay the associated fee. You can sign up as a single player and request a partner. Feel free to email Diana at diana.chong @ bayclubs.com.
