About the event:
This special walk will take in the sights and sounds of the natural world at twilight in the New Forest. We will explore some of the stories connected to the local area whilst using a thermal imaging scope and bat detector to discover the wildlife we otherwise wouldn’t be able to spot with our own eyes and ears.
Duration/difficulty:
We aim to be out for around 2 hours and will be walking at a leisurely pace with frequent stops. The terrain will vary between dirt tracks and some wet areas. There's some steep inclines.
Distance: Approx. 3 miles.
Cost: £8 per adult. Under 18s free
Good to know: Please wear suitable clothing; feel free to bring binoculars and a torch. Not suitable for young children - terrain unsuitable for pushchairs.
