History Open Day

Happy New Year to our followers.

A reminder that we are holding another Open Day on 21 February 2026 to encourage local people to bring their photos, artefacts and memories to Thorney Hill Community Centre between 10am and 3pm.

We'd love to have some volunteers to help gather and log the information we receive - particularly a few people to record the stories and memories folks want to share. It's impossible for us to remember these so much better if someone can jot it down on the day!

The focus will be on "within living memory" so great if people can bring their own memories or those handed down by parents and grandparents.
